The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society THE INDEPENDENCE OF MISS MARY BENNETT Reviews of a whole range of children’s books done in podcast form live from the reviewer’s favourite coffee shop. A fairly strong American bias, but some great authors and titles are discussed. Given the number of reviews a great deal of coffee must have been consumed. It is not often you get a soundtrack which includes Umm Kulthum and Chet Baker. How can it fail?
