The Library has a new display to help readers select novels. The display area is situated on the Returned Today shelving at the back of the fiction section in the Library. The display is called Who Else Writes Like …… How many times have you run out of novels by your favourite author and wondered what to read next? This display is designed to help find a new favourite author.
The first author chosen for the display is Mary Higgins Clark who has written 24 suspense novels in her career commencing with Where are the Children published in 1975. Mary Higgins Clark is a world wide bestseller author and has sold over 80 million copies of her books in the U.S alone. She has co-authored 3 suspense novels with her daughter Carol Higgins Clark and two of her novels have been made into movies. Mary Higgins Clark’s latest novel, published in 2009 is Just take my heart, the Library holds 5 copies of this novel, reserve a copy now.
